Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible
Caddez Soft,India ("CADDEZ", "we") is the data controller for personal data processed through SolarCAD. Contact: info@caddez.com.
2. What we collect

Files you import — DXF, KML/KMZ, GeoTIFF elevation — are processed to produce your layout. Elevation rasters are read in your browser and are not uploaded; a sampled elevation grid derived from them is sent to our server as part of the design request.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. Sign-in uses browser storage on your device to hold your session.
3. Where your data is stored
- Database and authentication — hosted in Australia (Sydney).
- Application hosting — hosted in Singapore.
- Email delivery — Resend, used to send sign-in codes and account email.
- Static libraries — the app loads two open-source libraries from the cdnjs content network; your IP address is visible to that network as with any website resource.
This means your data is transferred outside India and stored with the providers above, who act as our processors. We choose providers offering appropriate security and contractual protection for such transfers.
4. Legal basis and purpose
We process personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), to meet legal obligations (tax and accounting records), and for our legitimate interests in keeping the Service secure and enforcing plan limits. We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing.
5. Confidentiality of your site data
We understand that site boundaries and layouts are commercially sensitive. We access individual project data only when you ask us to help with a problem, or where strictly necessary to investigate a fault or a security incident. We do not use your site data to produce designs for other customers. Aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics may be used to improve the Service.
6. Your rights
You may ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete your account and its data; or export your projects. Email info@caddez.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting a project in the app removes it from your account; backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
7. Security
- All traffic is served over HTTPS.
- Sign-in is by one-time email code — we never store a password.
- Database access rules restrict every account to its own rows, and plan settings can only be changed by us, not from the browser.
- One active session per account, with a record of the last sign-in address.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data we will notify you and, where required, the relevant authority without undue delay.
8. Children
SolarCAD is a professional tool and is not directed at anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email. The date at the top shows the current version.
