Refund & Cancellation Policy

You see the work before you pay. We design two of your own real projects with you, live, using the full Pro feature set. You decide only after you have watched it done and hold the drawings and bills of quantities — so payments, once made, are not refundable.

1. How buying SolarCAD works

We do not ask anyone to buy unseen. Before any invoice is raised:

You choose two real projects of your own and send us the site boundary — a DXF or a KML — together with the design parameters you would normally use.
We meet you online and build both layouts with you watching, in your own units and to your own standards, using the full Pro feature set rather than a limited demonstration. You can change the inputs as we go.
We send you the resulting files afterwards — the DXF drawings and the Excel bills of quantities — so your team can review them against work they already know.
Only if you then decide SolarCAD is right for you do we raise an invoice.

This evaluation is free, carries no obligation, and your drawings remain confidential and are not used for any other purpose.

2. Nothing renews automatically

We do not hold your card and we never charge you a second time. A plan runs for the term on your invoice and then simply stops; your saved projects stay in your account. There is no subscription to cancel and no unexpected charge to reverse.

3. Payments are non-refundable

Because you have already used SolarCAD on your own projects and seen its output before paying, invoices are non-refundable once paid, and part-used terms are not refunded. Please make sure the evaluation has answered your questions before you ask us to invoice — we would far rather spend more time on that stage than take money from someone who is not sure.

4. Where we will still return money

Section 3 is not a way to keep money we have not earned. We will refund:

a duplicate or excess payment, in full;
a payment where we are unable to give you access to the plan you paid for, in full;
the unused part of the term, pro rata, if we withdraw the Service or a material feature your plan was sold with, or if we close your account for any reason other than a breach of the Terms of Service.

5. How refunds are made

Approved refunds are made by bank transfer to the account the payment came from, in the original currency, within 10 working days of us agreeing them. The time for funds to reach you depends on your bank. A GST credit note is issued for the refunded amount. Bank or transfer charges are not refundable.
